“Do you need to book a room in the Library for group working with other New College students?”

“Any current New College student may book the Group Study Room.”

The Group Study Room is situated on the Lower Floor of the Library.


New College students may book the Group Study Room for a duration of 30 minutes at a time, with the first slot commencing at 9.00 am and the last at 11.30 pm, all seven days a week.

The Group Study Room is a shared resource for New College students who need to study together.  Please limit any bookings you make to a maximum of four hours per day and 12 hours per week (in total), to enable equitable use of this in-demand space.  Bookings placed for longer than four hours per day may be rescinded by library staff.

The New College Library Group Study Room contains some general interest book collections:
